Chippenham Harriers River Run 5K & Fun Run 2019

Online entries are now closed however there are still places available on the day. Registration opens at 5.30 pm in the Olympiad, Chippenham.
The 5k River Run and 2k Fun Run follow a largely traffic free multi-terrain route along the banks of the River Avon, starting and finishing in Monkton Park, near the Olympiad Leisure Centre.
The River Run is a great community event which attracts people of all abilities and ages. The 5k distance means that it is ideal for the beginners and the inclusion of the Fun Run makes it the perfect summer evening event for families.

All Fun Run finishers receive a medal.
River Run finishers receive a tech T-Shirt
The event is the target race for the Chippenham Harriers' successful Beginners programme. The 9 week programme, led by qualified UKA Leaders in Running Fitness, is aimed at people who have either run in the past and want to make a running come back or complete beginners looking for a new activity to help get them fit. Over the 9 weeks runners build up from short run/walk sessions to running non-stop for 5k.
River Run entries are £8 (affiliated) or £10 (unaffiliated), or £2 extra for on the day entries.
All Fun Run entries are £4 online or on the day entry.
Note additional administration fee applies for on-line entries.
Fun Run starts 6:30pm,
River Run start 7.30pm.
ARC Rules Apply. (ARC race permit 19/311.) Online Entries Close on 1st July. On the day entries available for both the Fun Run and the River Run 5K (cash & card accepted). You enter the race at your own risk and the organisers will not be responsible for any injuries or loss of property at any time.
In the event of cancellation due to reasons outside the organisers control, refunds will not be possible.
